You do despair sometimes of national media - the plans to get rid of the Victorian 'Handyside' bridge that featured in Harry Potter have been around for ages. Where was ITN with its local roots when residents were trying to get a decent planning result for the station ? No doubt there will be a lovely glass bridge fit for a shopping centre with a nice digital clock.
